Description
The complaint alleges that the Benton County Democratic Central Committee (BCDCC), a bona-fide county party organization, failed to update the Committee Registration or timely disclose contribution and expenditure activities since October of 2014.
At the February 23, 2017 Commission meeting, the Commission accepted the signed Stipulation of Facts and Violations that had been agreed to by PDC staff and the BCDCC. The Commission assessed a total civil penalty of $3,000 against the BCDCC, of which $2,000 is suspended on the conditions the BCDCC pays the $1,000 non-suspended portion of the penalty within 30 days of the date of this Order; and commits no further violations of RCW 42.17A or WAC 390 for four years from the date of this Order.
