The outage was resolved at approximately 4:45 a.m. This outage affected all electronic filing except Lobbyist and Lobbyist Employers.

The PDC experienced a outage that prevented electronic filing of F1, L5, C1, C1PC, C6, LMC, except Lobbyist and Lobbyist Employers.

The Washington Public Disclosure Commission's online electronic filing systems were unavailable for all filings except lobbyist and lobbyist employer reporting. The problem began on 12/8/2018 at 4:55 AM. The outage appears to be the result of a failed power circuit or battery backup on the circuit. Systems have been moved to an alternate power source while the issue is investigated. Staff were notified of the outage and began work ~7 AM and systems were available again at 8:05 AM. All electronic filing systems have been available since approximately 9:30 AM. The outage status was maintained until 12:00 PM to allow for additional testing and additional disruption or maintenance operations. 

Update 12/15/2018 8:40 AM:

Systems are being restored to operation and our current estimate is that electronic filing will be available at approximately 1 PM.

Resolved: PDC Electronic Filing System Outage - -

UPDATE: PDC filing systems are now available. The agency has traced the source of the problem to a network connectivity failure on Saturday morning that led to internal systems shutting down. Reports that were due during the time of the outage will not be considered late if filed Tuesday, Nov. 6. The PDC is in the process of moving our services to a more reliable environment at the state data center that will prevent problems such as this. That work is 75 percent complete and is expected to be completed in April.

The PDC is experiencing server problems that prevent filing C-3 and C-4 reports. We are investigating and will update here as soon as we know more. 

Campaign Filing System Maintenance - -

The campaign filing system will be down for maintenance from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. while we perform important software updates. C-1, C-1pc and F-1 applications will be unavailable. The web services supporting ORCA filing also will be unavailable. Service should be restored by 7:30 a.m.

Update:  Service was restored at 7:20. 

 

C-1 and C-1pc outage for existing filers - -

The C-1 and C-1pc application on the PDC website was not working for existing filers (those who already have filer IDs). We have deployed a fix and the service has been restored. ORCA users who file or amend C-1s using that software were not affected by this outage.

Lobbying filing system outage - -

At 1:13 p.m., the PDC became aware of intermittent problems with the lobbyist electronic filing system. The issue was resolved and service restored by 1:32 p.m.
