Description

  • The Respondent filed reports subsequent to their 2021 campaign on May 1, 2025 to address unreported activity. Late reporting occurred to ensure the carry-forward into the 2025 election campaign was accurate. 
    • Deposits (C-3 reports) to the campaign total $2.14 from March 2023 to December 2024. The threshold for reporting was $750 during this period.
    • Expenditures by the campaign total $1,295.73 from March 2023 to July 2024 (C-4 reports), no 2021 campaign activity was reported. 
      • Activity reported was for administrative fees to maintain website and other miscellaneous subscriptions. 
         
  • PDC staff is reminding you about the importance of timely and accurately reporting deposits, contributions and expenditures and you are expected to comply with PDC statutes and rules in the future.

Having reviewed the complaint and the supporting evidence, PDC staff has determined that the Respondent appear to have violated RCW 42.17A. After consideration of all the circumstances, further proceedings would not serve the purposes of the Fair Campaign Practices Act. Under WAC 390-37-070, the executive director, at any time prior to consideration by the Commission, may dismiss a complaint which on its face, or as shown by investigation, provides reason to believe that a violation has occurred, but also shows that the respondent is in substantial compliance with the relevant statutes or rules, or shows that formal enforcement action is not warranted. The executive director must report at each regular Commission meeting all complaints dismissed.

Based on this, the PDC has dismissed this matter in accordance with RCW 42.17A.755(1) and WAC 390-37-060(1)(d).
