On May 28, 2025, the Public Disclosure Commission (PDC) notified you of an alleged violation of RCW 42.17A.205 by failing to timely file a Candidate Registration (C-1 report) and RCW 42.17A.700 by failing to timely file a Personal Financial Affairs Statement (F-1 report), disclosing personal financial information for the preceding twelve months, which were due to be filed within two weeks of candidacy or no later than May 23, 2025. 

PDC staff have reviewed this matter and found the following:

Curt Swade completed a Statement of Understanding (SOU) and returned the completed SOU with completed reports on June 12, 2025 and paid a $200 civil penalty in accordance with WAC 390-37-143 (Brief Enforcement Penalty Schedule), acknowledging violations of RCW 42.17A.205 and RCW 42.17A.700 for failure to timely file Candidate Registration (C-1 report) and Personal Financial Affairs Statement (F-1 report), that were due within two weeks of becoming a candidate or no later than May 23, 2025. The $200 penalty assessed resolves the allegations listed in your complaint. 

Based on this information, the PDC finds that no further action is warranted and has dismissed this matter in accordance with RCW 42.17A.755(1)(a). The PDC will not conduct a more formal investigation into these allegations or take further enforcement action in this matter.
