You may be wondering whether loans and payments provided through COVID-19 relief programs are reportable in your F-1 Personal Financial Affairs Statement.
The Paycheck Protection Program's (PPP) unforgiven loans of $2,400 or more, made to you or a family member, should be reported within the debt portion of the F-1. If you are liable for the loan made to a business you own, this would also be reportable. If the PPP loan was forgiven, it is not reportable.
Economic Impact Payments (Stimulus Checks) made to individuals are considered tax rebates and are not reportable on the F-1.
