Description

  • Allegation: Violation of RCW 42.17A.710 for failing to accurately disclose required financial information on the Personal Financial Affairs statement filed as the Mayor of Tenino and a candidate for Thurston County Commissioner. 
  • The PDC dismissed this matter in accordance with RCW 42.17A.755(1) and will not be conducting a more formal investigation into these allegations or taking further enforcement action in this matter. However, pursuant to WAC 390-37-060(1)(d), PDC staff issued a formal warning concerning the Respondent’s failure to timely disclosure all required financial information on his F-1 report, filed January 4, 2023. 
  • PDC staff expects Mr. Fournier to file all required information on future F-1 reports. The Commission will consider the formal written warning in deciding on further Commission action if there are future violations of PDC laws or rules. Mr. Fournier amended his F-1 on July 25, 2023 to include the missing information.
