Knutsen, John and Laurie, Alleged violation of RCW 42.17A.305 and .320, failure to report an electioneering communication and failure to include sponsor identification on political advertising

William Noland filed a complaint alleging that he had received an anonymous flyer in the US Mail concerning Puyallup City Council member John Hopkins, alleging unlawful or unethical acts. PDC staff was able to determine where the flyer was printed, and that the flyer was sponsored by John and Laurie Knutsen.  Therefore the complaint alleges that John and Laurie Knutsen may have violated RCW 42.17A.305 by failing to report an electioneering communication on PDC form C-6, and RCW 42.17A.320 by failing to include sponsor identification on the flyer.
