System outages that may prevent you from submitting PDC reports are logged here.
Reports will not be considered late when they are filed the next business day following an unplanned outage of 15 minutes or more, or a scheduled outage of 30 minutes or more between 11 p.m and 5 a.m. See WAC 390-19-045.

Due to planned maintenance, PDC filing systems will be unavailable for a 15-minute period between 6:15 am and 7 a.m.
Washington state central IT services has notified the PDC that Secure Access Washington (SAW) will be unavailable Aug. 20 from 7 to 9 p.m. due to planned maintenance.
SAW provides access to the PDC's campaign registration system. This outage will prevent PDC filers from using the campaign registration system to file and amend candidate and committee registrations or to create access tokens for ORCA.
UPDATE: At approximately 5 p.m., the problem was resolved and the lobbyist reporting system was operational.
Original message: The PDC was notified that a third-party cloud provider is experiencing a widespread outage. The outage is affecting the agency's lobbyist reporting system. The provider is aware of the problem and is investigating. We will provide more information when it is available.

Implementation of the new PDC electronic C-1 and C-1pc candidate and committee registration system caused technical issues for some filers when it was launched May 13th, 2019. In limited circumstances, the issues have affected C-1/C-1pc registration as well as C-3 and C-4 filings and ORCA users. Most issues have been resolved, and we expect to complete work on the remaining issues soon. The outage appears to have been a transient network failure and service was quickly restored. The PDC will be checking with the WA State central IT services to determine the actual cause.
The PDC is experienced an outage that affected the systems used to file C-3s, C-4s, F-1s and L-5s.
UPDATE: The PDC's filing systems remain operational, but the agency has received reports of weather-related outages of external systems that may prevent filers from submitting reports. In addition, the PDC office is closed Tuesday, Feb. 12, due to inclement conditions.
In recognition of these issues, the PDC is extending the deadline for any reports due Feb. 11 or 12 to Feb. 13.

The outage was resolved at approximately 4:45 a.m. This outage affected all electronic filing except Lobbyist and Lobbyist Employers.

The PDC experienced a outage that prevented electronic filing of F1, L5, C1, C1PC, C6, LMC, except Lobbyist and Lobbyist Employers.
The Washington Public Disclosure Commission's online electronic filing systems were unavailable for all filings except lobbyist and lobbyist employer reporting. The problem began on 12/8/2018 at 4:55 AM. The outage appears to be the result of a failed power circuit or battery backup on the circuit. Systems have been moved to an alternate power source while the issue is investigated. Staff were notified of the outage and began work ~7 AM and systems were available again at 8:05 AM.
